To commemorate the 40th anniversary of the show's broadcast, the early-series protagonist unit Dragonar-1 from "Dragonar" joins Bandai's "Hi-Metal R" series, with newly sculpted exterior parts! This deluxe set also includes the large Cavalier 0 option unit, created with entirely new sculpting, allowing you to fully enjoy the protagonist's initial mecha!

This figure features the Hi-Metal R series' signature hatch-opening gimmicks at various locations, revealing the distinctive frame structure beneath. The disc section of the head features multiple clear parts in various colors; the twin rail cannons -- designed to supplement long-range bombardment capabilities -- can move independently. The figure's proportions are meticulously recreated, even when the Cavalier 0 is not attached. The drum-shaped storage unit can be secured by connecting it to the back of the Dragonar-1, ensuring stable posing even after attachment. The radome head featuers rotating and pull-out articulation, while the front armor section includes axis-based movement. These articulation points allow for dynamic displays even when the rail cannons are equipped. The Hand Railgun can be held with both hands, and reload sequences using spare magazines can also be staged. The shoulder-mounted Anti-MA Grenades and arm-mounted Throwing Bombs are detachable and can be held by the included hand parts. The rear thruster sections can be deployed; combine them with the included laser sword to recreate close-quarters combat scenes from the series.
